This course is an informative introduction into the events management industry. The course focuses on basic concepts, skills and factors to consider when starting as an events manager. Additionally, participants will gain key knowledge about event management strategies and vital customer service skills as well as the main issues to consider when planning for different types of events.

Assessment of the course is determined by course work which accounts for 40% of the overall grade. As well as the final written examination which accounts for 60%.
